That’s right time to get acquainted! My name is Alex Dyson and I’m a freelance developer. When I’ve created my first e-mail account I thought that I’m a great programmer! :) Time has passed and although I have 8+ year hands on experience in web development I still have lots to learn. When all my class mates played computer games and surfed internet for fun I was interested how all these works. Who creates the websites and how do they do it? I’ve made my first front page web site, cut my shots with Photoshop and understood that what I got can hardly be considered a well projected resource.
When I studied at school I started attending Photoshop and php courses and then I’ve realized that it’s what I can do to earn for living. I wanted to combine the knowledge in coding because it gives more freedom in planning the structure and architecture of the future project and design because it allows creating the visual form of the project and that’s what final customer sees. So I had to develop in two directions simultaneously which was quite complicated because it was rather time consuming but on the other hand it helped me organize all the knowledge in my head into a more complex image of developing process.
I’ve graduated from California Institute of technology and have a Bachelor degree in Computing Science. This profession is a constant challenge but I enjoy overcoming any difficulties that inspires me to be stronger, more flexible and leads to self-improvement. When I’m working over an interesting project I’m overwhelmed with excitement and I don’t see anything around until I find the best solution. When project manager says that it’s impossible to implement something I take it as a defiance to find out how it can be realized. I can say that I’m highly motivated, persistent in achieving my goals and hard working. All these helps me keep up with modern technologies and methods. I specialize in web applications development because I see great opportunities in this rapidly evolving sphere.
While working for Digital Media Inc. I’ve participated in interesting and challenging projects that gave me much space for applying the latest technologies. That’s the list of technologies I use: Javascript, HTML, PHP, AJAX, MySQL databases, CSS, Flash (Action Script).

Moreover, the main project of my life is a PHP Flash Chat, that is not free, as it is a professinal solution for live communication. Feature-rich and secure application is one of the best awards-winning tools made in Flash.
You can find me not only in front of the computer coding or reading developers’ blogs! I like travelling but who don’t? :) It’s a great feeling when you visit new country that is completely different from your own, get involved into another culture and observe foreign traditions. I’m keen on outdoors activities, like playing soccer or basketball.
Life is just a matter of perspective don’t lose your chance to change it for better. :)
